Computer: the information from a new PC Inventory form:

 Asset tag – for example: 21095
 Priority – low (l), medium (m), or high (h)
 User – student, faculty, or department name
 Type – student, faculty, or staff
 Department – department name
 VP Code – ‘VPAA’ (Vice President of Academic Affairs)
 Building – Roger Bacon or Morell Science Center
 Room – room number
 Manufacturer – Dell, Gateway, HP, etc
 Model – model of computer
 Equipment Type – PC, laptop, Wireless Access Point, etc
 Monitor Type – CRT or LCD
 Purchase year – format yyyy
 Installation Date – format mm/dd/yyyy
 PO# - Purchase Order Number (not typically used)
 CPU – Central Processing Unit (Intel Pentium 4, etc)
 Speed – 2.0 GHz, etc
 Disk – size of hard drive (160GB, etc)
 Memory – 256k, etc
 MAC – MAC address, colon delimited list of 6 numbers(0-9) and letters (A-F) 
 in caps, (for example: 00:13:AB:5D:9F:12) 
 Serial # - “service tag” on Dells, “serial number” on Macs
 Comments – would be good
 
 (No need for ‘I&TS Override Indicator’ or ‘Supported by’ fields)
